‘Wonder Woman’ Movie Going Back in Time?

It’s been assumed the upcoming Wonder Woman movie, which will be released after Batman v Superman, would take place after it too. Those assumptions now appear to be wrong.

Bleeding Cool reports that the first Wonder Woman movie will take place in the 1920’s. The first half of the film is said to take place on Paradise Island, until a man comes and shows her the rest of the world. A planned sequel, if it happens, would take place during World War II. The third film would then bring her into the modern day, with the rest of the Justice League.

In order to do this, she would basically have to not age throughout these three films, which is possible. However, a previous report said that she would be a demigod, not the classic way of her being molded out of clay, so I’m not sure how they would go about explaining this. This is also not the first superhero film in recent years to take place in the past, as Captain America: The First Avenger took place during World War II.

What do you think of this news? Would you want to see a Wonder Woman film that takes place back in the day? Sound off in the comments down below.
